Auskick
About Auskick
Auskick is one of the best, first experiences kids aged 5-12 can have learning Australian Rules Football.
On Saturday mornings, Auskickers and their families will run, jump, kick, laugh and create their own special moments playing footy. No matter their skill level, ability or knowledge of the game, Auskick is for everyone
2024 Season
Registration for Kew Comets 2024 Auskick is now open! Join us at Vic Park on Saturday mornings from 9am, 4 May - 27 July 2024 for a run, jump, kick and laugh. Learn all the skills you'll need to start playing footy with a Kew Comets team. Most importantly, come and have fun and make new friends.
At the end of each session, Auskickers will come together and be recognised for their efforts by their coaches. Weekly award winners will be congratulated with a prize and certificate. At the conclusion, we will host a BBQ with all funds raised going to the purchase of equipment, future events and special rounds throughout the season.

Transitioning to Kew Comets Junior Football Club (KJFC)
We strongly encourage at least one year of Auskick to begin your child's AFL experience to help determine whether footy is fun for your child. Following this, children can join the KJFC and play in a team on Sunday mornings. The normal entry age is 8 or 9, but children can play from the age of 7 depending on their DoB. You can find information on the age bands and registration process on this website under registration. Children need to be registered to the KJFC, not transferred from Auskick. To receive a family discount, register all your children in the one transaction. Enquiries for KJFC can be sent to the registrar via email registrations@kewcomets.com.au.
