The history of the Kew Junior Football Club (or Kew Comets as it is more broadly known) is long and distinguished.
Going back as far as 1879, the club's core philosophy has been to provide all players with a safe and caring environment in which they would gain maximum enjoyment and development at training and in games. This philosophy remains steadfast today. Fundamental to it are our principles of:
In 2022, some 550 players spanning 25 teams (19 male and 6 female) played for Kew Comets from Under 8 to Youth Girls/Colts.
Outside those seasons affected by the COVID pandemic, Kew Comets typically hosted about 150 games and 10,000 spectators from across the eastern and north eastern suburbs of Melbourne each year.
The club offers potential and current sponsors outstanding opportunities for advertising and promotion. Together with a full program of events and presentations, significant website traffic and a strong social media presence, Kew Comets communicates with hundreds of families a week and is well connected in the community. Our Club also owns two of the league's state-of-the-art, full video, digital scoreboards.
The scale and reach of our audience demographic, coupled with these assets, present some of the best sponsorship and advertising opportunities available to local businesses. To learn more about them, please contact Siobhan Miller 0412 951 033 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
